WHAT
WE
DO
PROJECTS
The Movement Project creates and organizes trail running events and races that give back to charities, community projects and non profits. Our focus is on cancer care and cancer research, with an emphasis on The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation and The McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre. The Movement Project is always looking for new opportunities and projects to support. If you have a project or a funding goal for a charity or individual in need, let's chat! It may just be the next Movement Project.
PURPOSE
The Movement Project was born from a personal desire to give back, to help others and to improve the lives of individuals and families battling hardship, health challenges or struggles. On August 31, 2020 we lost my Mother, Laura Jean Stankiewicz, to the battle against cancer. I feel like I have been given an opportunity, a path for hope, a way to give back. I hope to inspire, to give, and to show people that they can make a difference, big or small, that can have a lasting impact on so many lives, families and individuals.
PARTNERS
The Movement Project has teamed up with some of the most generous businesses, corporations and organizations to bring this project to life. Without the support from these entities, The Movement Project wouldn't be possible. From financial contributions, donations, products for prizes and volunteers, these organizations have shown what it takes to be courageous, to invest in the good and most importantly make a move in a positive direction. If you feel that your business, organization or corporation aligns with The Movement Project and you want to get involved, we want to hear from you!
